Listening Project 2016
The Listening Project is an audio archive of conversations recorded by the BBC. People are invited to share an intimate conversation with a close friend or relative, to be recorded and broadcast by the BBC and curated and archived in full by the British Library.
Different narratives may suggest particular fonts, tone, layout and typefaces. This project shows how weight, size and font pairing can support an idea as well as form a hierarchical structure and how one element of communication can be understood as discreet and yet relative to another level of communication.
